Jackie has worked in childcare for 20 years, holding various positions caring for children of all ages and abilities.
Mrs Sue Dixon is the Nursery’s administrator, she has worked for the Nursery for 13 years. Mrs Dixon is also the Nursery’s treasurer.

Welcome to St Catherine’s Nursery Hoddesdon, where we provide your child with a warm and nurturing “home from home” environment.
Our commitment to creating a safe and comfortable space for your little one is unwavering, ensuring that your child feels at ease and secure during their time with us.

All of our staff hold a paediatric first aid certificate.

We have half termly social events where we speak to the parents about their child’s development.
Once a term their child’s Learning Journey book is sent home for parents to look at. If a parent has any concerns staff are always available to speak to or an appointment can be made.
We aim to work towards a situation in which children can develop self-discipline and self-esteem in an atmosphere of mutual respect and encouragement.
All adults in the Nursery will praise and endorse desirable behaviour such as kindness and willingness to share.
We use a puppet called Bobby to tell stories about unkindness and not sharing.
